![]() CEO Jim Hoyt, left, and Board President Cookie Rojas, right, stretch the ceremonial ribbon cut by teens at the opening of The CLUB. At the CLUB, we have a fitness room with state-of-the-art exercise equipment. There is a games room and lounge that, together, serve as a hub for member interaction. Teens play pool, ping pong, watch television together, or just hang out. The gymnasium and pool are also available. A homework room and computer lab both help teens expand their education and technology skills to succeed in school. We offer homework assistance too so that kids can hurdle scholastic obstacles during Power Hour, a regularly scheduled tutoring session. Programs such as Passport to Manhood and Girl Talk, an adaptation of Smart Girls, teach teens to make responsible choices in life. The programs focus on self-awareness, decision making and interpersonal skills while sharing timely information about drug and alcohol abuse.Keystone Club is a leadership program for teens, 13-18, that introduces members to volunteering their services to the community and the Club. Add athletics, league and team sports, aquatics, cooking classes and many other programs and the member's daily world comes further into focus. The Club also encourages teens to pursue their interests in the arts. From music composition and performance to dance, photography, drawing, painting, sculpture and graphic design, our teens have a world of discovery and creativity to experience. But there's more. Meals are provided daily for teens as well as transportation to the CLUB from several local schools and transportation home in the evenings.
